BABE RUTH - First Base+2 - Repertoire, 1973

First Base (1972)was British hard rock group Babe Ruth's biggest and probably their best album. This album is an interesting junction between hard rock and progressive rock. The two driving forces behind this album were guitarist Alan Shackloc, who was the main songwriter, and vocalist Janita Haan, who came out as the perfect balance between Janis Joplin and Robert Plant. Nice digi pak re-issue with original Roger Dean artwork.
